Stash Clubs

Stash clubs

Stash clubs are a great way to build up stash, often giving you colours or prints you wouldn’t normally buy but which encourage you to experiment.   Most of them are monthly, and will send you a bundle of fabric sorted by colour, theme or designer.  Some include other craft supplies like haberdashery and may come with a project or pattern too.   We’ve shared the details of some of our favourite below, whatever your tastes there’s bound to be a club to suit you.

British Stash Clubs

Bolt End Club from The Quilt Room

The Quilt Room

The Quilt Room have two stash clubs for you!

The Bolt End Club – when bolts get low they have to be moved on to make way for new ranges. The packs sent every two months will not necessarily co-ordinate but you know the fabrics are going to be good – and they they are great bargains! Each pack contains five fat quarters.

Hot Off The Press Club – receive a beautiful bundle containing six fat quarters (1.5m) of inspirational fabrics every two months. Fabrics sent will be from collections that have recently been released. You can upgrade to half metre packs.

Sew Darn Sweet stash club

Sew Darn Sweet from Oakapple Haberdashery

Each month a theme will be announced, and the four fat quarters in the box will be around that theme e.g.the Seaside box contained a selection of Makower fabric from their Marina collection and ribbon and buttons in a red, white and blue colour palette.

Sometimes includes a little kit, other times a pattern or suggestions for a project. The Seaside box had a lighthouse template to use for applique.

You can buy directly from the website while the boxes are in stock, or you can message or email for an invoice by paypal while there are available subscriptions. There is also an option to buy a six month or 12 month subscription as a one-off payment. This means you will get the boxes at a slightly reduced price.
