Crossfield Centre Halls, 8 Fairhazel Gardens, London, London NW6 3SG

The London Quilters was formed in 1979 to provide an opportunity for quilters living in London and the Home Counties to meet with others who share the same enthusiasm. We now have around eighty members, of all ages, backgrounds and nationalities. For some of us, patchwork and quilting is a hobby, whilst others among us are professionals.

We have guest speakers at most meeting with our Annual General meeting in December. There are also workshops and Skills evenings, challenges and other fun events. The 'Show and Tell' section is a highlight of every meeting. Every few years we organize a public exhibition of members' work. For the exhibition we make a Group Quilt, which is raffled for charity.

New members and visitors are welcome.

Full membership is £28 per annum, due in September each year, students and under 18s free. There is a newsletter, which is published four times a year. Half-year membership, available from March is £15. First time visitors - £5.

Directions:The hall is located between Fairfax Place and Goldhurst Terrace just west of Swiss Cottage. If you are coming from Swiss Cottage station, there is an exit that will take you down steps onto Belsize Road.
