I know that many of us crafters don't just see buttons as a thing to be used, but more as some to be collected, drooled over and adored.  You definitely cannot have enough buttons, so here's some more to tempt you...

If you are loking for a huge range of all different types of buttons then Totally Buttons is the site to visit.  They stock over 3,000 different kinds of buttons including shell, wood, leather, metal, plastic, horn, Swarovski, diamante, fabric, glitter and many other types of buttons.

Quirky buttonsSew Crafty

If you love quirky, then you'll love the selection of buttons at Sew Crafty. Ranging from the cute - such as these tropical fish designs - to the gorgeous including a good range of designer buttons, you'll find something to love. Coconut buttons

Sewbox have several different types of buttons from silver buttons to ceramic from plastic to coconut!  They also offer brass and plastic self cover buttons in case you fancy making your own.

Another website which has a great range of buttons is Raystitch.  Raystich have pretty much every type of button you could think of: satin polyester buttons, polyester buttons, wooden buttons, shell buttons, fabric covered buttons, Christmas themed buttons and aran buttons.  Phew, try saying all that in 1 breath! 

These beautiful printed shell buttons pictured are my favourite, especially the sewing themed ones.

Of course we couldn't mention buttons without mentioning The Button Company.  The Button Company are both wholesalers and retailers and their business description on our site says it all: ''Big buttons, little buttons, giant buttons, teeny tiny buttons, fancy buttons, boring buttons, shell buttons, coconut buttons, plastic buttons, colourful buttons, wooden buttons, and more!''

What I love about their buttons is you can buy themed bags of buttons so they aren't all the same colour but a range of co-ordinating colours such as the one pictured here - autumn leaves.

Minerva CraftsSkull and cross bones buttons pirate buttons

Minerva Crafts have a huge range of different buttons including 4 hole, 2 hole, jeans buttons, covered buttons, shank buttons star buttons, novelty buttons, fish eye buttons, leather buttons, metal buttons and many other types.

If like me you have a little boy they will love the skull and cross bones avilable in several different colourways.  They would be ideal for a pirate treasure bag, or dressing up outfit.

Blooming FeltScotty dog buttons from Bloming felt

Blooming Felt is another site that has a great range of colourful buttons from colour co-ordinated packs of fabric covered buttons to shaped buttons like stars and hearts.  Like The Button Company they they also sell mixed bags of buttons by colour/shape/design. 

They have a great selection of spotty and stripy buttons, plus they sell really big buttons for when you want a feature button in your project.  Plus they stock the supplies for you to make your own self covered buttons as well.

Ceramnic fairtrade buttonsInjabulo

When you are looking for really unique special buttons then Injabulo is the place to go!  They have stunning handpainted ceramic buttons - some round but others made in all kinds of different shapes.  You can find hearts, starts, animals, flowers, birds, trees, leaves and many other themed buttons. They also have large feature buttons as well.  I warn you they are hard to resist!

What's more their buttons are fair trade and handmade in South Africa with money going to established empowerment projects.  Giving you the perfect excuse to order lots and feel good about doing so.

Abakhan Fabrics, Hobby & Home

Last and by no means least are Abakhan Fabrics.  Abakhan Fabrics offer a great range of handmade ceramic buttons and jars of assorted buttons.  They also sell carded buttons, dill buttons, wooden buttons, blazer buttons, aran buttons and many others. 

They currently have a big selection of novelty buttons with animals printed on like squirrels, racoons, hedgehogs, rabbits and various birds.
