Sponsor’s Profile – Suffolk Sewing School

Established in 2008 by passionate sewist Ann Haughton Suffolk Sewing School is a countryside sewing retreat for locals, or those who want to travel from further afield.  Unlike many sewing schools which run set courses on set dates for large groups of students Ann will tailor a course personally to your needs to you learn the skills you want to learn and take home something useful that you need for your home/wardrobe.  She runs a few set courses that you can find details of on her site, or you can contact her to book the course of your choosing.

She has many customers who travel from outside of Suffolk and stay for a weekend of sewing.  She has an arrangement with a local B & B so can help you book accommodation.  With over 40 years sewing experience she can teach a range of dressmaking, quilting and furnishing courses.  She is so knowledgeable she managed to teach me over the phone without being able to see where I was going wrong, she just intuitively knew!
