Quilting Bundles

Many fabric stores offer a great range of quilting bundles, rolls and fabric packs.  There's so much choice it can be hard to know where to start.  With the Festival of Quilts only a week away we decided to present our pick of the fabric packs available online:

The Fabric Loft

The Fabric Loft offer a range of designer quilting fabrics and have fabric bundles consisting of 3 or 4 fat quarters with prices ranging from £8 to £11.  They even offer you the option to make up your own bundle or 4 fat quarters of any of their fabrics for £11.

We love the summery colours of this Nicey Jane Tangerine bundle priced at £10.

Backstitch Shop

Backstitch offer a range of bundles from 3 fat quarters to 6 fat quarters offering something for all budgets with prices ranging from £6.75 to £13.50.  All of their perfectly co-ordinated bundles are named after cocktails with names including Kir Royale bundle, Manhatten bundle and the Whiskey Sour Bundle.

Saints & Pinners

Saints and Pinners offer a few different options of packs of quilting fabrics, you can buy bundles of 2-6 fat quarters priced between £4-£13.25, rounds of 2.5 inch strips equalling 1.5 metres of fabric (£11-£14.50) and scrap rolls of approximately 5 x 5inch squares of fabric totally about 1 metre for £5.50.

We love the Amy Butler Love round for £13.50.

Celtic Fusion Fabrics

Celtic Fusion Fabrics have a great range of fabric desingers including a stunning collection of Japanese Imports.  They also have some great ribbons and tapes that perfectly match their fabrics.  They offer mini cloth stacks that consist of 3-4 fat quarters, generally grouped by designer, with prices ranging from £4.40 - £7.50. 

They also offer charm pack stacks which consist of 8 strips of fabric 27cm x 22cm, half a yard in total.  These packs cost £5.90 each.  We love the kiddies charm pack stack.

Seamstar

Seamstar have some very funky fabrics as well as some great matching trims.  They offer big chunky bundles of fabrics with enough fabric to use for a big project it's also a great range to buy all the fabrics of one designer's range.  The prices for the large bundles cost from £10 up to £45, they also offer smaller sample bundles of 3 quarter metre pieces of fabrics for £8.50.

They have some great bold colours and designs plus all the bundles come with a special offer, whether it is a percentage off the price, or free fabrics.  We love the bright colours of the Play Date bundle, they would make a perfect quilt for a young girl.

Ray Stitch

Ray Stitch have recently introduced a selection of fabric bundles, ranging from 8-10 fat quarters with prices going from £18.00 to £26.00. 

We love the bundle of Organic Cloud 9  My Happy Garden fabrics, it costs £25 and you get 8 fat quarters in total.  They have a great range of organic fabrics including prints and plains as well as designer prints.

Patch Fabrics

Patch Fabrics offer fat quarter bundles and what they call Inspiration Packs, which is a pack of fabric with co-ordinated trimmings.  Their fat quarter bundles consist of 3-6 fat quarters of fabric wrapped with a co-ordinating ribbon the prices range from £7.00 -£15.00.

Their Inspiration packs consist of 2 fat quaters of fabrics plus matching ric rac, ribbons and trimmings.  the packs are priced at £7.25 each.  We love the autumnal tones of the Georgia Orange inspiration pack pictured here.

Gone to Earth

Gone To Earth stock 100% cotton fabrics from a range of designers including Kaffe Fassett, Amy Butler and Anna Maria Horner. Their bundles are available in a range of sizes from a 2 fat quarter bundles (from £4.25) up to entire collections such as the Amy Butler love bundle consisting of 26 fat quarters for £58.50.

Cookes Quilting Supplies

Cookes Quilting Supplies offer fat quarter bundles, jelly rolls and fabric packs.  Their fat quarter bundles range from 3-10 fat quarters and include Gingham, Batik and Makower fabrics and prices range from £6.25-£27.50. 

They also stock Moda Jelly rolls, Moda Layer cakes and Bali pops for an alternative to fat quarter bundles.  Prices range from £20-£25.

Tikki Patchwork

Tikki Patchwork offer a huge range of quilting fabrics, from designers such as Tilda & Kaffe Fassett they also offer civil war reproduction fabrics and 1930's fabrics. They do large bundles ranging from 10 fat quarters (£27.50) to 40 fat quarters for £99.  They also offer gift boxes of fabrics which would make a lovely christmas present for a fellow quilter.

You could even go for a pot luck fat quarter bundle with 50% off the price, 10 fat quarters for just £15.00.
