Children In Need celebrity Sewing Bee

Celebrity edition of The Great British Sewing Bee this October!


Exciting news!  Ahead of series 3 of The Great British Sewing Bee (which I assume will return Spring 2015) there is going to be a 3 part celebrity edition especially for Children in Need!   There will be 3 episodes with 4 celebrities competing in each one. 

Episode 1 - The first week will star doctor and TV presenter Dawn Harper, Hairy Biker Dave Myers, radio DJ and presenter Edith Bowman and actress Wendi Peters.  They will all be competing to sew an a-line skirt, upcycle a shirt into a girl's dress and sew a 50's style dress.  It will air on BBC2 starting at 8pm on Tuesday 21st of October!

Episode 2  - will air on the 23rd October at 8pm and will star TV presenter Gaby Roslin, choreographer Louie Spence, comedian and writer Mark Watson and actress Pam Ferris.  They challenges feature a a Peter Pan-inspired skirt, pyjamas and sewing with lycra.

Episode 3 - The third episode will feature BBC1 radio presenter Gemma Cairney, acress and author Kathryn Flett, Overtones lead singer Timmy Matley and comedian & acress Helen Lederer and will air on the 24th October at 8pm. It will include sewing a t-shirt with an overlocker and making a Micheal Jackson style jacket.

There will be a guest presenter each week, the first being Jenny Eclair, the second Sara Cox and the third Anita Rani.
