Handmade Revolution - BBC craft TV show seeking applicants
Looks like the BBC will be great for craft programs this autumn, first we heard the people behind The Great British Bake Off were going to be making a new sewing show and now the producers of Flog It! are launching a new craft show – Paul Martin’s Handmade Revolution.
The BBC show is looking for amateur crafters from all craft disciplines to apply by the end of June. As with the sewing show the main criteria is that your main income must not derive from sale of your crafts.
They are running 2 events in which successful applicants will be asked to bring one of their handmade creations along to showcase their work. The details are below:
South East event: 30 June to 1 July
Cut-off date for applications: Friday 22 June
Midlands event: 14 to 15 July
Cut-off date for applications: Friday 6 July
Finalists will need to be available for filming at the end of July/start of August. For more information visit: http://www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/shows/beonashow/handmade_revolution
