There are lots of textile and goodies to enthuse anyone with an eye for crafts, making and design. Here are just three of the stall holders that you might find interesting. A newcomer to the Country Living Fair was My Aunt Agatha, no not my real aunt. The designer Andrea Bea Vonk, Dutch by birth and trained in Holland has been living in the UK for the last fifteen years. Her designs are inspired by her two dogs. She designs textile goods for the home including tea cosies, aprons, cushions, pot holders etc, she can also be found on http://www.etsy.com/shop/MyAuntAgatha.
Aurina is the brain child of another young designer who as well as designing and printing textiles has branched out into producing soaps, fragrances, room diffusers and even sleeping bags.
See www.aurina.co.uk for more information.
Today as well as stands selling crafty items there were also some demonstrations. The one that caught my eye was Eve Marshall needle felting. This is a dry way of felting as opposed to the usual wet felting method. Eve runs courses, sells kits and products.
