I stumbled accross this post on the Sew Scrumptious blog last week about an appeal to make dresses from pillowcases for young girls living in poverty around the world and I wanted to spread the word. Sew Scrumptious has kindly posted links to a few tutorials on her blog and if you send the dresses to her she will ship them all to America to be distributed worldwide.
Many of us have old pillowcases lying around and what a great way to put them to use.
