Beautiful Buttons

I know that many of us crafters don't just see buttons as a thing to be used, but more as some to be collected, drooled over and adored.  You definitely cannot have enough buttons, so here's some more to tempt you...

Lush Lampwork

Lush Lampwork is our first stop when it comes to gorgeous buttons.  They produceHeart buttons a range of hand made glass buttons, form the quirky animal buttons (pigs, monkeys, cows, hippos and horses) to large feature buttons and many sizes and designs inbetween.

It was very hard to choose which buttons to picture here, but ended up going for these colourful blue heart cookie buttons

You can view their full range of buttons, and beads, on their site: www.lushlampwork.co.uk.

As much as I love the more exotic buttons on the site this wonder display of the colourful fish eye buttons is just too good not to be used here.  Priced at £1.20 for a pack of 10.

The Button CompanyAutumn Leaves button selection

Of course we couldn't mention buttons without mentioning The Button Company.  The Button Company are both wholesalers and retailers and their business description on our site says it all: ''Big buttons, little buttons, giant buttons, teeny tiny buttons, fancy buttons, boring buttons, shell buttons, coconut buttons, plastic buttons, colourful buttons, wooden buttons, and more!''

What I love about their buttons is you can buy themed bags of buttons so they aren't all the same colour but a range of co-ordinating colours such as the one pictured here - autumn leaves.

Visit The Button Company here: www.buttoncompany.co.uk.

Blooming Felt

Button SensationsBlooming Felt is another site that has a great range of colourful buttons from handpainted creamic buttons to spotty and stripey plastic buttons.  Like The Button Company they they also sell mixed bags of buttons by colour/shape/design.

They also sell designer buttons such as the pictured water collection by Button Sensations.  Visit their website: www.bloomingfelt.co.uk to see their full range of buttons as well as the felt, ribbons and craft kits they supply.

Gone To EarthRed shell buttons

I love these gorgeous red shell buttons as pictured to the right.  A pack of 5 costs just £1.35.
